Real sourcing enquiry ยท Destination requested: Latakia, Syria
A sourcing contact buying for a customer in Syria sent I Auto Export a detailed Titanium 7 request. The discussion covered the vehicle configuration, origin and destination-port quotations, freight, documentation and vehicle evidence.
A specification-led request
The buyer specified the model year, drivetrain and battery specification, as well as option packages they did not want. They also requested actual vehicle photos, vehicle identity details and a complete specification sheet.
For this type of enquiry, a model name alone is not enough. Two quotations can refer to different drivetrains, battery capacities or equipment packages even when the model family is the same.
How the proposal developed
After the initial proposal encountered supply and export-condition questions, we continued sourcing and sent a further configuration document and quotation. The proposed specification still needed to be checked against the original requirements item by item.
The request included separate China-origin and destination-port pricing, with freight and document charges identified. A final, agreed shipping scope was not established by the material reviewed for this case.
What to include in your enquiry
- Exact model year, trim and drivetrain.
- Battery specification and essential or unwanted equipment.
- Quantity, condition and registration requirements.
- Destination port or city and the requested handover arrangement.
- Separate vehicle, freight and documentation costs.
- Configuration sheet and vehicle-specific photos or VIN when available.
Check the vehicle verification scope and payment and document checklist before agreeing a purchase.
Request a vehicle-specific proposal
Send your specification and destination through our vehicle enquiry form. See also the CS75 Plus Khorgos quotation case for an example of separating a vehicle price from excluded destination costs.
Based on an anonymised WhatsApp sourcing discussion. This is not evidence of a completed export, confirmed availability or destination import eligibility. No final price or trade term is published because the matching configuration and quotation basis require further confirmation.
