A buyer sourcing a Changan CS75 Plus for Kazakhstan asked I Auto Export to clarify the vehicle version, export documents and delivery costs. This anonymised case comes from our WhatsApp quotation discussion.
What the buyer needed
The enquiry covered the exact engine and trim, manufacturing date, whether the vehicle was new and unregistered, the VIN, pro forma invoice, sales contract and payment process.
The historical quotation and its scope
The proposed version changed during the discussion. One quotation for a 1.5T version was USD 15,750 per vehicle, with collection at Khorgos after Chinese export customs clearance.
- Handover: Khorgos, after Chinese export customs clearance.
- Excluded: Kazakhstan import clearance, duties and taxes, and onward transport from Khorgos to Astana.
- Version boundary: the buyer later asked about a 2.0T version. The 1.5T amount must not be applied to that later request.
The document discussion covered a commercial invoice, packing list, export declaration and certificate of origin where available. The final document list and timing require written agreement for the selected vehicle.
What to check when comparing a quotation
A vehicle price is useful only when it is tied to an exact version and handover point. Ask the seller to put the model year, engine, trim, condition, included charges, exclusions and validity period in the same written quotation. Agree the trade term and named place explicitly.
